What Is the CELPIP-General Test Format?
The entire test is completed on a computer in a single sitting. No handwriting, no face-to-face examiner.

5 Common CELPIP Mistakes to Avoid
- Ignoring the timer. Each section is strictly timed. Practice finishing with 1–2 minutes to spare so you can review your answers.
- Speaking too fast or too slow. The microphone picks up everything. Speak at a natural, conversational pace. Rushing leads to unclear pronunciation; hesitating wastes precious seconds.
- Writing too little. Both writing tasks expect 150–200 words. Falling short signals incomplete answers and costs marks on development and detail.
